Tennessee whiskey is a light brown to rich amber drink which as the name suggested is distilled in the Tennessee.
This whiskey is made from at least 51% corn and other filled out with rye, barley, or wheat.

Tennessee whiskey is aged in charred new oak barrels. The charcoal used for Tennessee Whiskey is especially selected from sugar maple trees, which are often seasonally burned on the premises to make the charcoal.

The charcoal filtration properties are also used in the distillation process known as ‘charcoal mellowing’ to give the finished product a richer, mellow smoother taste.
