• Nose - butterscotch, citrus, candied lemon, pear drop, banana, mint. Taste - Apple pie, spicy oak. Finish: spiced apples, almonds. Bruks is a combination of whisky distilled at the original distillery at Mackmyra Bruk and the new Gravity Distillery. All whisky was matured in the Bodås Mine. Great on its own at room temperature, chilled or with an nice cube. Makes delicate whisky cocktails.
  • Nose: smoky with peat, juniper and vanilla, caramel, citrus, pears and raisins. Taste: Oaky, tobacco leaves and herbs. Saltiness with minerals, anise and green fruits. Peat is from a bog an hour south of our distillery. It is combined with juniper twigs in our smoker which is housed at the entrance to our kiln; a repurposed 20 foot shipping container. Delicate enough to be an aperitif but with sufficient depth for after dinner.
  • Nose: fruity, mandarin, tart tatin, apple pie, honey. Light oakiness, toasted bread, fresh butter toffee. Taste: Spicy, notes of sandalwood, dried ginger, roasted oak and herbs. Elegant with caramel, candied citrus, honey, dark chocolate. Ideal for evenings reuniting with friends, by the fireplace or the campfire, in the lounge or in the garden.
  • Mackmyra Grönt te (Green tea) is an elegant, Swedish single malt whisky matured mainly in ex- oloroso casks, finished for 19 months in casks that previously held our own green tea liqueur. We created this using some of the finest vintage tea leaves from Japan. Grönt te is one of our most innovative finishes to date. A blend of oloroso wine and the finest vintage Japanese green tea leaves have seasoned the casks, providing a subtly spicy and flavourful whisky with a fruity and floral finish. Our Japanese vintage teas are Kaoribo-Hojicha,Yame-Gyokuro,Yame-Matcha and Yame-Sencha.
  • The aromatic profile of the whisky comes from finishing in casks that previously held port wine with notes of vanilla, chocolate and pepper. The resulting whisky is elegant With a light spiciness and notes of warm raisins, sun ripe fruits, tropical berries, buttery pear fudge, vanilla and toasted oak. Spicy and herbal with fruity warm vinous grape tones and a minerality. Soft vanilla oakiness, with aromas of anise, ginger, raisin, pear caramel and vanilla
